Watercolor 101 Lesson 3 – Tree, Cloud and Sunset References

Hello everyone. This week we’ll be working on techniques – washes, edges, and working with wet and dry paper and paint.

First a tree reference. We’ll be trying out different methods of applying wet and dry(ish) paint to wet and dry paper.

Here’s a few examples I did a while ago when I snuck into Gary Tucker’s online class.

Next we’ll do some washes and finally some edge work putting clouds into a blue sky.
