New England Fishing Boats – Early Morning – Original Watercolor Painting

The shapes and the the light in this scene really evoke that crisp, cold, early-morning light on the New England Coast.   No real detail in there – everything is suggested but is just enough.

Size:  11″x14″(16″x20″ with mat).

This painting comes ready matted which will fit in a standard 16″x20″ frame.   We don’t ship framed paintings at the moment as it pushes up the cost and frames can be very personal.    I like a plain dark wood frame which sets off the white mat and the painting very well.

The painting will be backed by 3/16″ foam core board and contained in an acetate sleeve. It is then shipped flat by USPS in a reinforced flat card envelope.
