I just love the shapes of cats.  The elegant slant of their shoulders and their haunches.  And who could resist those eyes!!  Watercolor is a wonderful medium for animals and birds.   Keeping the edges fluid you can get a real sense of the animal’s shape and movement

The painting is artist quality watercolor on 100% cold press watercolor paper.   Shipped with a single archival mat surround.

This painting comes ready matted which will fit in a standard 16″x16″ frame.   We don’t ship framed paintings at the moment as it pushes up the cost and frames can be very personal.    I like a plain dark wood frame which sets off the white mat and the painting very well.

The painting will be backed by 3/16″ foam core board and contained in an acetate sleeve. It is then shipped flat by USPS in a reinforced flat card envelope.  Shipping to the US is generally 1-3 days.
