Placeholder Landscape

I’ve not been painting of late  – too much to do and my brain is still in first gear and everything takes 10 times longer.    This is a landscape that’s been half finished for a while.  I’ve been trying to consolidate the John Lovett lessons and am pretty happy so far.

  1. I've not visited for a while – busy life and a dodgy computer – but there seems to be an incredible difference from last time. I absolutely love this picture! It has the sort of fluidity and freshness that often eludes me and, it has atmosphere in spadefuls. I've also really enjoyed admiring previous posts. Congratulations on your sales – fully deserved!!

  3. Hi Kevin! Good to hear from you and many thanks for the kind words. I was very pleased with this one (it's not officially finished but maybe it's gone far enough) and somewhat surprised it came out so well. I hope you're finding time to get the brushes out too – I saw your recent seascapes which were really impressive.
